- Normal classes, open gyms and other normal activities (OCR, yoga, etc.) are still scheduled and happening. We will let you know if anything changes. Thank you!
As of 3/13:
"As things continue to develop, we have decided that it is best to postpone the tryouts that were scheduled for tonight. A lot of research, time, consideration, and discussions have happened to come to this conclusion and we apologize for any disruption to your schedules it may cause.
As we were assessing the risks, we decided tryouts are a higher risk event than our normal classes, due to the fact that the number of people trying out can be higher than our typical class sizes, and usually parents and siblings of the person trying out also come to the gym during that time. It was a hard decision to postpone, but we felt it was wise to. We are excited to get team started back up again, but also want to make sure we're not increasing anyone's risk while doing it. We will not plan on hosting any events outside of normal classes over the next few weeks (including teen/adult tryouts, team banquet, and no Rec NNL or mini-comps). Thank you for your understanding as everyone's health and safety is of the utmost importance to us!
We will continue monitoring the COVID-19 virus and follow recommendations of the government and CDC. Mayor Ginther encouraged small businesses to continue running, but to also take precautions at the same time. So we will continue our class and open gym schedule (with 30 still being our max number of participants), but if anything changes, we will make sure to let everyone know!
Thanks and take care!
Michelle"

Dear MLab Ohio members and families,
The health and safety of our members and employees is of the highest importance to us! Like you, we are keeping a close watch on the latest news and CDC recommendations in regards to the coronavirus, COVID-19. We want to do everything we can to promote and sustain the health of everyone at our gym.
Current measures we are taking:
It was just released that all Ohio schools will be released for the next 3 weeks and that gatherings of 100 or more people are not allowed. Please see the article below to see which activities are included in the count of 100 people (things that are okayed-airports, stations, malls, etc). Outside of events, we don’t hit those numbers and plan to continue the gym schedule as normal for the time being. We may add in some daytime camps with limited sign-ups to help parents who are unable to watch their kids at home. We will keep you posted soon if we decide to move forward with that.
We will continue to stay up to date on the best policies and procedures to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible, and encourage everyone to do the same! The main purpose in all of the cancellations is to slow down the spread of the virus, as our health system would struggle with such a high number of people sick at one time.
We are still planning to have tryouts tomorrow night as of right now, but we'll keep you posted if that changes. Birthday parties are still good to go unless those hosting the party do not feel comfortable having it. If so, please contact our gym to reschedule. Thanks for your understanding through all of this and feel free to reach out to us with any questions! As many normal activities are canceled, I encourage you to use this time to get some extra quality time with your family and close friends, and make the best of the situation.

Current measures we are taking:
- All staff and members are encouraged to stay home if feeling sick or showing any symptoms of the flu or a cold.
- Staff must wash hands or use hand sanitizer on arrival, between classes, and leaving the gym, and we ask that members do the same. Please make sure to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.
- Highly trafficked areas like the front desk, bathrooms, and door handles are being disinfected every hour.
- We are wiping down our laptops every hour, but if you’d prefer to sign in hands-free, you can ask the person working the front desk to sign you in. You can also sign in online ahead of time.
- Equipment in the gym such as mats, bars, rings, etc are being cleaned more frequently.
- Please stay home if you are feeling sick or showing cold/flu-like symtoms. At the end of the month if you had to miss some classes due to being sick, we can roll them over into April.
- If you cough or sneeze, please do so into a tissue or your upper sleeve/elbow, then go wash your hands!
- If you start to feel sick during a class, please let an instructor know so you can go rest at home and we can disinfect any areas you came into contact with.
- Please make sure to wash your hands when entering and exiting the gym, and make sure to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with your hands while at the gym or after touching surfaces.
- Get adequate sleep and eat well-balanced meals with lots of vitamins and nutrition!
